Safety forum held Monday night. Many students expressed concern for their safety while walking on campus. DPS addressed student concerns by introducing a new LIMO Express program and MPD patrols will be a permanent presence on campus.

MUSG SPRING CONCERT – TALIB KWELI
MILWAUKEE (March3, 2008). Marquette University Student Government announces this year’s spring concert. Talib Kweli will be performing live on Tuesday, April 22 at 7:30 p.m. in the Varsity Theater. Don’t risk getting stuck in the back row, arrive early and secure your seat. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Student tickets go on sale Monday, March 10, 2008 and available for only $15 in the Brooks Lounge located on the first floor of the Alumni Memorial Union. Public tickets will be available for $22. Individuals must be over the age of 18 to attend.

Marquette University Student Government would like to express its disappointment with Marquette University's decision not to renew Sweeney's lease. Marquette University Student Government recognizes the impact this closure will have on students and shared this concern with administrators as early as last fall when it was announced that Marquette would purchase the property. MUSG assures students that they will continue to challenge University administrators and the BookMarq to ensure students continue to receive the best quality and service while maintaining a reasonable price.

MUSG WEBSITE GETS A FACELIFT
MILWAUKEE (February 15, 2007). Marquette University Student Government is pleased to announce the launch of the new MUSG website. Students are now able to find out important information such as legislation, senate minutes, event schedules, updates from each department and tips on how to receive finding for club sports and organizations. MUSG encourages students to visit the new website and list any questions, comments, or concerns in the suggestions section found at the top of the page.
