MU Unplugged continues with Almost Classy to perform at Marquette

Marquette University Student Government’s MU Unplugged Series will continue with Almost Classy to perform on Friday, September 18, 2015. Come jam out to the band’s alternative pop rock hits with us in Westowne Square from 5-7 p.m.

The LA-based band Almost Classy creates an upbeat pop rock sound with hints of folk and hip-hop. This blend of genres creates a unique sound for the band that is best described as invigoratingly fresh and undeniably catchy. Fans most love the band’s cohesive style, originality and eccentric live energy.

The band has opened for acts such as Andy Grammer, Hello Goodbye, ZZ Ward, Thick As Thieves and Wilson Phillips. In 2012, Almost Classy was named the Los Angeles RAW Artists of the Year. Their debut EP was released in the fall of 2013 and they have been playing sold out shows from LA to NYC.

MU Unplugged is free and open to all Marquette students. If inclement weather should arise, the event will be moved to the first floor of the AMU.
