MUSG Invites Students to Christkindlesmarkt in Chicago

As the Holiday Season approaches, so does our excursion to Christkindlmarkt in Chicago! Christmas in the City excursion will take students to Chicago on Saturday, December 5 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Wristbands are free and will be available for pick-up at the CLSI starting November 30. Buses will pick up in front of McCormick so be sure to be ready at 9:45 a.m. Students will leave Chicago by 4 p.m. and be back to campus at around 5 p.m.

Christkindlmarket in downtown Chicago was inspired by the Christkindlesmarkt in Nuremberg, Germany. It was first established at Delay Plaza in Chicago in 1997. The festival is part of the Magnificent Mile Lights Festival. In recent years it has become the most popular United States Christmas market, attracting more than one million visitors annually.
