MUSG Invites Students to Attend MAM: After Dark

Looking to socialize? Looking to dance? Looking for a dash of culture? Marquette University Student Government invites you Friday, November 20 to the Milwaukee Art Museum where they will be presenting “Milwaukee Art Museum After Dark: On The Edge”.

Buses will be picking up on 13th Street between Schroeder Hall and Abbottsford Hall at Schroeder Field. The buses will be shuttling throughout the night. The first bus will leave at 8 p.m. This event is first come first serve for the 100 students.

“On the Edge” is an event where Bunky Echo-Hawk, a Modern Warrior, will present his live art. He combines Native American topics and hip-hop culture to create edgy performance art. Echo-Hawk will be painting in the Museum’s Windhover Hall.

According to Milwaukee Museum of Art website, aside from “On The Edge”, there will be food and beverage tastings provided by Cafe Manna and Urbal Tea. Contemporary photographer and RedLine artist Jake Hill will showcase his dynamic work. There will also be a dream catcher creation station with guidance from Potawatomi Hotel & Casino’s native historian.
