Marquette University Student Government and the Office of Student Development will host “Rock the Rec” for a fitness fiasco on Saturday, March 29 from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. at the Rec Center. The event will feature Zumba classes taught by Marquette’s Rec Center fitness instructors. Once students have worked out hard, participants will have a chance to play even harder. During “Rock the Rec,” students will have the opportunity to participate in an intensive match of dodgeball and partake in a fun-filled game of human foosball.
For those who wish to cater to their mind, body and soul or wish to get some rest and relaxation, there will be free massages offered by Massages on the Go.
Healthy food and snacks will be provided for students to enjoy. These delicious delights will include Mediterranean Veggie, Two Cheese & Avocado, and the Classic Turkey sandwiches from the Milwaukee Public Market’s Green Kitchen, allowing for students to refuel and reenergize.
This is a great opportunity to get fit and have fun. All Marquette students are welcome to attend this free event. So stand up Marquette and get ready to rock your body at Rock the Rec.
