Morgan Johnson is a senior double majoring in Political Science and Economics. As a senator from the College of Arts and Sciences, she represents the students enrolled in the college and listens to their concerns. Johnson brings several years of experience to MUSG. She was previously an Elections Coordinator and a Program Board Excursions Commissioner. Johnson’s favorite part about being involved in MUSG is meeting students with different interests and passions.
“It’s a great way to meet people that are both like you and unlike you,” she said. “You are able to learn something new from everyone, and you are surrounded by people who are so passionate.”
Outside of MUSG, Johnson is a member of Alpha Xi Delta sorority, Orientation Staff, Hunger Clean Up and the Senior Challenge Committee. She is also a Student Alumni Ambassador and an intern at Marquette’s Office of Public Affairs.
In the summer of 2012, Johnson studied at the Les Aspin Center for Government in Washington, DC.
“I had an amazing time exploring the city—its historical sites, political events and local eateries,” she said. “It was also great to see politics at work on the national scale, and to be able to witness legislative history as it was happening.”
