Meet MUSG: Schroeder Hall Senator Matt Walker

Matt Walker is a sophomore in the College of Arts & Sciences, majoring in Political Science and Economics. walker_mAs the Schroeder Hall representative, Walker is in his second year as a residential senator, previously serving Abbottsford Hall.

Matt cites MUSG’s ability to better Marquette and the surrounding area as one of his favorite parts of the organization.

In addition to his commitment to MUSG, Matt is the co-chair of Marquette’s College Republicans and the Regional Vice Chair of the Milwaukee region of the Wisconsin Federation of College Republicans.

Walker’s interest in government is one of the major reasons he chose to attend Marquette. After touring Marquette’s Les Aspin Center for Government, Matt decided he really wanted to participate in the program.

Outside of politics, Matt loves a good game of Chutes and Ladders, and currently is the only undefeated player in the MUSG office.
