MILWAUKEE (April 23, 2013) – Marquette University Student Government will host two free events during finals week. On Monday, May 6, MUSG will provide complimentary study snacks courtesy of Sodexo in the AMU at 9 p.m. On Wednesday night, May 8 at 9 p.m., a delicious Late Night breakfast will take place in McCormick Dining Hall.
The Late Night breakfast is a time-honored Marquette and MUSG tradition. Nothing relieves the stress of finals week quite like an all-you-can-eat breakfast. For underclassmen, this event extends the availability of pancakes, bacon, sausage, eggs and hash browns. However, for upperclassmen, Late Night breakfast is an opportunity to relive their good old McCormick days with new friends and get a free, unlimited meal out of the experience.
“I’m very pro-pancakes,” says MUSG Executive Vice President Zach Bowman.
Monday’s snack fest and Wednesday’s breakfast are not only occasions for food, but also for studying. Take a break from the library or the confines of your room and meet a group of friends for some free food and a new space to study. Don’t have time to stay for long? Not a problem! Stop by for a quick snack or meal and get back to work.
Both events are free and offered as a perk for students during finals week. Additionally, the Late Night breakfast does not require a meal plan.
