Coffeehouse: Griffen Alexander

MILWAUKEE (December 3, 2012) –Marquette University Student Government coffee house series will kick off with a performance by Indie rock artist Griffen Alexander on Thursday, December 6at 8 PM in the AMU first floor courtyard. Alexander is an independent songwriter who will perform songs from his album The Song & The Sea, including hit song, “Mississippi River.” Alexander’s song, “ Mississippi River,” is available for free download at his Facebook page.

Special guests, and Marquette students, Sarah Lauer and Will Richter will be opening for Alexander.

Coffee house is free and a perfect place to study. The music-filled event provides great music and, of course, free coffee and cookies.

“It is a good study break and time to relax,” said junior Jessica Couloute.

First ten people in attendance get free mugs!

Take a break before finals week and enjoy great musical performances and an enjoyable atmosphere.
